Eminent Church purpose represents the essence of our ministry and the heartbeat of our congregation:

“This is the branch of the high cedar set by God upon the mountain and eminent to bear goodly fruit, a safe place for every wing where dry trees flourish.I the LORD have spoken it.”

22. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: 23in the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. 24And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.

Our Beliefs

EMINENT Church Essential Faith Doctrines are 17 Bible-based statements that serve to explain our beliefs and values as a Christian ministry, bringing clarity and unity to this family of worshippers.

We believe in the unlimited-verbal inspiration of the accepted standard of Scriptures as originally given. The word of God are infallible, unerring and the ultimate and final authority for all matters of faith, decisions and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13).
We believe in the everlasting Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, different but indivisible (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and also appeared to His disciple for 40days (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25).
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of God the father in order to fulfil the command of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-36; 19:1-6). Click here for more on Water Baptism.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation, with the scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-45; Galatians 3:14-15).
We believe in the table of the Lord, known as the Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers (1 Corinthians 11:28-32; Matthew 26:26-28).
We believe that there is one true Church in one body, made up of genuine believers, but this one universal Church is also a collection of many local Churches in given localities. These Churches are under the sovereign headship Jesus with the aim of reconciling men unto God (Acts 15:22; Matthew 16:18; 18:15-20).
