Our Birth.
22. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: 23in the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. 24And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.

Special Dedication

Jude 1:24-25

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.

Dedication mean consecrated to God‘s service, is more properly applied to the “setting aside” of something for a special and sacred purpose. It also means making public declaration of dependency on God as a giver of a gift for wisdom, strength and grace to manage that which is given by God.

And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels. Chr. 15:18

The start of returning or acknowledging God as the giver of a thing is returning the gift back to God by dedication. Got a new house, new car, new facilities. Let’s return it to God together in dedication.

According to scriptures, we don’t only dedicate babies, we also dedicate gift and vessels.

Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued; 2 Sam. 8:11
